Customer & Vendor Aging Reports
Age your receivables by due date — see risk before it grows.
What problem does it solve?
Aging analysis is pulled manually at period end; overdue exposure per account is never visible in real time. When risk is spotted late, collection and provisioning are late too.
How does the solution work?
Conforcus aging reports automatically age customer and vendor accounts across due-date buckets, surfacing overdue receivables and high-risk accounts. They give clear visibility for provisioning and collection decisions.
What changes in practice?
The reports read customer and vendor open items in FI and place each item into the defined due-date buckets according to its due date. The buckets are defined to match the company's collection and provisioning practice. Results are broken down by account, account group and currency, and the risk view brings forward the accounts with the largest overdue receivables. Aging is produced from the open-item position at the time the report is run, without waiting for period end. Because the same buckets are applied with the same logic every time, comparisons across periods are consistent and the calculation can be explained in an audit.
What changes day to day is that aging is no longer rebuilt by hand every period. The collections team sees from the report which accounts to prioritize, and finance bases its provisioning assessment on the same data. The report also feeds dunning and credit management: knowing in which bucket the overdue amounts are concentrated informs dunning follow-up and credit decisions. On the vendor side, the same view is used to follow payables that are falling due or already overdue, so receivables and payables are tracked with reports of the same structure.

Frequently asked questions
How does this differ from the standard SAP aging report, and does it replace it?
Standard reports keep working; the solution adds reports alongside them that age open items across the buckets the company has defined. Breakdowns by account, account group and currency come ready, together with a risk view that surfaces overdue receivables and high-risk accounts. The aim is to remove the step of preparing the aging analysis by hand at period end.
How are the due-date buckets set, and which breakdowns are available?
The buckets are defined to match the company's collection and provisioning practice, and the report ages open items accordingly. Results can be broken down by account, account group and currency. Who maintains the buckets, and where, is decided during implementation.
How is the report used for provisioning, dunning and credit decisions?
By showing how much is overdue from which account and in which bucket, the report provides the basis for provisioning and collection decisions. The same data feeds the dunning and credit management processes, so dunning follow-up and credit decisions work from current overdue information. Because the same buckets and the same data are used every period, the provisioning assessment can be explained consistently in an audit.
