Export Process
Run export from document to customs inside SAP — end shipment delays and missing paperwork.
What problem does it solve?
Export documentation, customs and delivery steps run outside SAP — manual and fragmented; missing documents stall shipments, errors are costly and compliance risk is high.
How does the solution work?
Conforcus's export process manages export documentation, customs and shipment steps end to end inside SAP — from sales order through delivery and billing — keeping document and data consistency across the entire flow.
What changes in practice?
The process sits on top of the standard sales chain: export-related information starts on the sales order and is carried to the delivery (VL01N) and the invoice (VF01) within the same flow. Customs and shipment data are kept on these documents rather than in separate files. Because export documents are produced through output determination from that same document data, the document that goes out matches what is in the system. Every step in the flow has a status, and step-based status tracking shows the export team which step of a shipment is complete and which is still waiting.
In daily work the export team no longer copies SAP data into outside templates or keys the same information again; duplicate data entry disappears. A missing document shows up earlier as an open step, rather than at the moment it stalls the shipment, and can be completed in time. When a detail changes on the order or delivery, the documents are produced from the same source again, which keeps them consistent with each other. Since customs and delivery steps can be traced along the document chain, an audit or compliance query about which step was completed is answered from the records.
Benefits
- Export documents are produced in one flow; document-driven shipment delays drop
- Customs and delivery steps are traceable, easing audit and compliance pressure
- Manual copying and duplicate data entry are eliminated

Frequently asked questions
Which steps of the export process does the package cover, and where does it start and end?
The process starts with the export sales order and continues inside SAP through delivery, export documentation, customs and shipment steps up to the invoice. Customs and shipment data are held on these documents, and export documents are produced from the same data through output determination. The aim is for the export team to obtain every document from one flow without keeping parallel lists outside SAP.
How is a missing document or an unfinished customs step noticed before it stops the shipment?
The documentation, customs and shipment steps in the flow are followed through step-based status tracking, which shows for each shipment which step is complete and which is still open. Because an open step is visible within the flow, a missing document can be noticed before it stops the shipment. The same records are used to trace the steps in audit and compliance queries.
Today we prepare export documents outside SAP; will we have to enter the same data again?
No; export documents are produced through output determination from the data on the order, delivery and invoice. Since information is carried from the document where it is entered to the documents that follow, manual copying and duplicate data entry disappear and the documents stay consistent with each other. Which documents are produced is defined during setup according to the company's export practice.
